Broadband Light Therapy Hero: Gentle but Effective
The Sciton Forever Young Broadband Light (BBL) Hero is an advanced intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment that uses dual lamps and various energy wavelengths. Unlike laser treatments, BBL uses customizable wavelengths to repair the skin with no ablation (removal of the surface layer of skin).
What BBL Hero Treats Best: We often recommend BBL for common concerns such as rosacea, acne, mild skin sagging, pigmented spots (like freckles and age spots), sun damage, broken blood vessels, hyperpigmentation, or bumpy textured skin. Additionally, BBL therapy increases collagen production supporting your body’s ability to heal and create fresh, healthy skin.

What to Expect: BBL
Hero therapy is 4 times faster than any other broadband light therapy option. A shorter pulse size makes it safer, and it has twice the cooling capabilities making it more comfortable than standard BBL treatments. BBL procedures can typically be completed in about an hour or less, but the time can vary depending on the size of the treatment area and skin condition. Most clients need little to no downtime or recovery.
On average, clients reach their goals after 3 sessions spaced 4 to 7 weeks apart. Yearly maintenance appointments can help heal sun damage.

What to Expect:
Most patients report a warm sensation, similar to a sunburn, lasting 30 to 60 minutes following treatment, and sometimes even longer depending on the length of treatment.
You can resume normal activity 24 hours following treatment, allowing time for skin to calm. The most noticeable part of recovery is a bronzing tone that will start to peel after 2-3 days. This is normal, and our practitioner will lay out the best practices to allow for proper healing.
You should start to see the results of your treatment within the first week, with refreshed skin appearing after 3-4 days. Results can take up to 6 months to be fully realized at the optimal level. Be sure to follow a healthy skincare regimen, including regular moisturization, limited sun exposure, and the use of a high SPF.
MicroLaserPeel Treatment The “Weekend Peel”
The MicroLaserPeel treatment uses laser energy to stimulate collagen production and remove the superficial layer of skin to provide a gentler laser resurfacing than the HALO with less recovery time.

What to Expect:
Most people experience 2 days of peeling before seeing their fresh, polished skin. Many clients repeat 2 to 4 treatments every 4 to 8 weeks.
