"I will ONLY GO TO HIM!!! He did an amazing job! I researched for years and finally picked Dr. Dorner!!! I’m the first they asked years ago to do a video testimony on my experience of Breast Augmentation, and last I seen, I am still on his website 7 years later!! “Kim from Clyde”! He is seriously amazing and I always recommend him! So far I have had 2 people also drive about 3 hours to go to him and they thank me to this day for my recommendation and are so happy with their results!!!"- K.S. / Healthgrades / Jun 14, 2020
"I wish I could give more than five stars; AMAZING experience! I've struggled to build muscle/bulk in certain areas of my body my whole life and decided it was time to take action. For about 6 months, I researched options and plastic surgeons, mostly based in LA and NY. I luckily stumbled across Dr. Dorner in my search and I'm so glad I found him. The whole staff is very friendly, supportive, smart and very accommodating. Dr. Dorner made recommendations based on the results I was trying to achieve and I have to say, he knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend Dorner Plastic Surgery."- R.C. / Google / Nov 23, 2019

"When All else Fails - If you've read my first procedure review, you know what's happening. If not, I'll give a brief synopsis for you.Back in 2016; I worked my a** off, literally. After losing 90 pounds I was left with stubborn belly fat and saggy skin around my abdomen. It was really affecting me and my view of my body. I worked extremely hard and felt I had nothing to show for it. Enter in, Dr. Dorner.I had my tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction done in September of 2016. 12 weeks into recovery..........Pregnant.I was extremely worried. I had just had this major abdominal surgery and now it was going to be undone; would it be okay for the baby, is it going to be too tight, would there be any complications? I had an amazing OB/GYN and it turned out her brother is a plastic surgeon. She said that she has had several patients that have had a tummy tuck and then had babies, with little complications, although they hadn't been as soon after.Long story short, everything turned out fine. I was fine, baby was fine (although she was breech and we couldn't get her to turn - no matter how hard we tried) and she was born in August of 2017.During my pregnancy I gained about 29 pounds. After my pregnancy, I gained additional weight. You know....new baby, whatever sleep I could get, nursing..these things took priority. I have managed to lose 23 pounds. So that's great, but it hasn't been lost from where I want. I've been trying hard, not as hard as before but still hard and the fats just not budging.I saw Dr. Dorner today for a consultation; after looking at the areas around my hips, he agreed and said he could perform liposuction with no issues. He did ask if I had had any drastic weight loss prior to my tummy tuck because I have more skin than he'd expect for someone who gained a small amount during pregnancy. I can't fault him for asking, I doubt he remembers my previous history, so I said yes. He briefly mentioned a posterior body tuck which I guess is like a tummy tuck for the backside. No thanks. Just the lipo please. I can live with my cellulite and not have to finance a down payment on a house. The quote was less than I imagined so I'm fairly certain this is going to happen. Just have to plan when; it looks like it will be shortly before mother's day, he's good at what he does and books out pretty far, plus it'll be my gift to myself."- M. / RealSelf / Mar 10, 2020
"I had an amazing experience undergoing Ultherapy with Christine at Dorner Plastic Surgery. I was a bit worried about the pain going into the treatment, however, Christine was able to keep my discomfort to an absolute minimum. I would highly recommend this non-invasive, essentially painless treatment!"- A.S. / Google / Jan 18, 2020
CoolSculpting Procedure Technique
Even though this innovative technique has proven successful on men and women of varying ages, those who are most likely to benefit from CoolSculpting:
- Are within 30 pounds of their goal weight
- Experience stubborn areas of fat that do not respond to natural weight loss efforts
- Are not interested in or do not qualify for surgical procedures
- Have realistic expectations for the outcome of their treatment
After your consultation to create your CoolSculpting treatment plan, your procedure will be scheduled. During your appointment, the CoolSculpting applicator and gel pad will be applied to the decided upon area and controlled cooling will begin. The cooling, delivered through the applicator, will begin to target and freeze the fat cells. You will probably feel coolness during your treatment, but this typically does not cause great discomfort. As the applicator uses suction to move the fat cells into the treatment area, you will feel a slight tugging or pinching, but these are normal sensations.
What to Expect with CoolSculpting®
Since the CoolSculpting procedure is nonsurgical, you will be able to return to your normal activities following treatment. Most of the time, you can return to work or school immediately following your appointment. Side effects of the procedure usually include swelling, bruising, stinging, redness, and tenderness of the treatment site. These side effects are temporary and will subside in the hours and days following your procedure. You can expect to see results in as little as three weeks, while you will see the most dramatic and obvious results 1 – 3 months after your CoolSculpting treatment.
CoolSculpting Ideal Candidates
How much does CoolSculpting cost?
The price of CoolSculpting is dependent on the number of treatments needed and the amount of fat being removed. During your consultation, we will discuss your desired outcome to determine the best course of treatment to reach optimal results. We will also talk with you about your expected out-of-pocket costs.
How does CoolSculpting work?
CoolSculpting works by applying a controlled temperature to target fat cells in selected areas for treatment. Essentially, it freezes the fat cells until they die. The cells are then broken down by the body and discharged through natural functions.
Is CoolSculpting safe?
CoolSculpting is a noninvasive, external treatment in which the device is applied only to the skin’s surface. With this treatment, there is no need for a recovery period. You may experience some slight redness and swelling immediately after treatment, but this typically only lasts for about a week.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of treatments necessary to realize your wanted results will be decided during your initial consultation. For some patients, only one treatment is enough, but other patients may need more treatment sessions based on the amount of fat being removed. The total number of treatments is dependent on your aesthetic goals and if there are thicker layers of fat in target areas.
Do the fat cells grow back?
While the destroyed fat cells cannot regenerate, new fat cells can form. Additionally, significant weight gain will greatly affect your results. Thus in order to maintain optimal results, it is crucial to adhere to a healthy diet and exercise routine.
No body is without flaws and we all have things we wish we could change, like stubborn pockets of fat that don't respond to a healthy diet and exercise. Thanks to modern technology, you no longer have to choose between living with the excess fat and undergoing surgical liposuction. Dorner Plastic Surgery is pleased to be able to offer Columbus, OH individuals CoolSculpting treatments to remove areas of stubborn fat without surgery for a smoother, slimmer silhouette. Schedule a CoolSculpting consultation to determine if you are an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting or if another procedure would better fit your needs and expectations.
