"I will ONLY GO TO HIM!!! He did an amazing job! I researched for years and finally picked Dr. Dorner!!! I’m the first they asked years ago to do a video testimony on my experience of Breast Augmentation, and last I seen, I am still on his website 7 years later!! “Kim from Clyde”! He is seriously amazing and I always recommend him! So far I have had 2 people also drive about 3 hours to go to him and they thank me to this day for my recommendation and are so happy with their results!!!"- K.S. / Healthgrades / Jun 14, 2020
"Dr. Dorner and his staff are absolutely fantastic! From the consultation through surgery and post-op appointments they have been phenomenal. I feel like I’m part of the family when I go in to see him. Everyone is so friendly. I didn’t feel rushed through my appointments and I felt like he really listened to my concerns and was willing to answer any and all of my questions. I’m 2 weeks post surgery (liposuction) and I’m very pleased with my results. I can’t wait to see them after I’m fully recovered. If you’re thinking about having anything done I highly recommend Dorner Plastic Surgery. They are the best!"- M.A. / Google / Jun 11, 2020
"I wish I could give more than five stars; AMAZING experience! I've struggled to build muscle/bulk in certain areas of my body my whole life and decided it was time to take action. For about 6 months, I researched options and plastic surgeons, mostly based in LA and NY. I luckily stumbled across Dr. Dorner in my search and I'm so glad I found him. The whole staff is very friendly, supportive, smart and very accommodating. Dr. Dorner made recommendations based on the results I was trying to achieve and I have to say, he knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend Dorner Plastic Surgery."- R.C. / Google / Nov 23, 2019

"When All else Fails - If you've read my first procedure review, you know what's happening. If not, I'll give a brief synopsis for you.Back in 2016; I worked my a** off, literally. After losing 90 pounds I was left with stubborn belly fat and saggy skin around my abdomen. It was really affecting me and my view of my body. I worked extremely hard and felt I had nothing to show for it. Enter in, Dr. Dorner.I had my tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction done in September of 2016. 12 weeks into recovery..........Pregnant.I was extremely worried. I had just had this major abdominal surgery and now it was going to be undone; would it be okay for the baby, is it going to be too tight, would there be any complications? I had an amazing OB/GYN and it turned out her brother is a plastic surgeon. She said that she has had several patients that have had a tummy tuck and then had babies, with little complications, although they hadn't been as soon after.Long story short, everything turned out fine. I was fine, baby was fine (although she was breech and we couldn't get her to turn - no matter how hard we tried) and she was born in August of 2017.During my pregnancy I gained about 29 pounds. After my pregnancy, I gained additional weight. You know....new baby, whatever sleep I could get, nursing..these things took priority. I have managed to lose 23 pounds. So that's great, but it hasn't been lost from where I want. I've been trying hard, not as hard as before but still hard and the fats just not budging.I saw Dr. Dorner today for a consultation; after looking at the areas around my hips, he agreed and said he could perform liposuction with no issues. He did ask if I had had any drastic weight loss prior to my tummy tuck because I have more skin than he'd expect for someone who gained a small amount during pregnancy. I can't fault him for asking, I doubt he remembers my previous history, so I said yes. He briefly mentioned a posterior body tuck which I guess is like a tummy tuck for the backside. No thanks. Just the lipo please. I can live with my cellulite and not have to finance a down payment on a house. The quote was less than I imagined so I'm fairly certain this is going to happen. Just have to plan when; it looks like it will be shortly before mother's day, he's good at what he does and books out pretty far, plus it'll be my gift to myself."- M. / RealSelf / Mar 10, 2020
Hair Restoration Candidates
Any healthy adult patient suffering from hair loss could be a candidate for hair restoration with PRP; however, those in the early stages of hair loss usually attain the most favorable results. PRP is best used for patients with androgenic alopecia, which is an inherited type of hair thinning that typically occurs on the top of the head. In women, this can sometimes appear as a widening part with normal hair density at the backside of the head. Those with parts of "poor quality" hair growth on the scalp with normally functioning hair follicles usually have the best results with PRP hair restoration.
Hair restoration with PRP is nonsurgical and only requires a short 60-minute, in-office visit. Before the treatment, we will collect a little bit of your blood in a vial and place it into a special machine called a centrifuge, which spins the blood at a high rate of speed to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood components. Afterward, a local or topical anesthetic will be applied to your scalp and allowed to soak in. Finally, the concentrated platelet-rich plasma is reintroduced via injection into parts of your scalp that are bald or thinning. Our protocol for nonsurgical hair restoration is highly customizable and can be repeated as needed and recommended by Dr. Dorner.
What to Expect
There's no downtime needed to recover from this treatment. Patients may develop some minor redness, swelling, or discomfort around the treated regions, but these symptoms will subside in the coming days. While results differ from one patient to the next, aesthetic results are typically noticed around 4 – 6 months after the initial treatment. Results often continue to improve up to a full year following therapy. Hair restoration with PRP is not a permanent solution for reversing hair loss so follow-up sessions are highly recommended every 12 – 18 months. It's important to note that PRP hair restoration doesn't create or establish new hair follicles. Conversely, the treatment reverses the miniaturization of hair follicles so they will create fuller, healthier, longer hair fibers.
