"I will ONLY GO TO HIM!!! He did an amazing job! I researched for years and finally picked Dr. Dorner!!! I’m the first they asked years ago to do a video testimony on my experience of Breast Augmentation, and last I seen, I am still on his website 7 years later!! “Kim from Clyde”! He is seriously amazing and I always recommend him! So far I have had 2 people also drive about 3 hours to go to him and they thank me to this day for my recommendation and are so happy with their results!!!"- K.S. / Healthgrades / Jun 14, 2020
"Dr. Dorner and his staff are absolutely fantastic! From the consultation through surgery and post-op appointments they have been phenomenal. I feel like I’m part of the family when I go in to see him. Everyone is so friendly. I didn’t feel rushed through my appointments and I felt like he really listened to my concerns and was willing to answer any and all of my questions. I’m 2 weeks post surgery (liposuction) and I’m very pleased with my results. I can’t wait to see them after I’m fully recovered. If you’re thinking about having anything done I highly recommend Dorner Plastic Surgery. They are the best!"- M.A. / Google / Jun 11, 2020
"I wish I could give more than five stars; AMAZING experience! I've struggled to build muscle/bulk in certain areas of my body my whole life and decided it was time to take action. For about 6 months, I researched options and plastic surgeons, mostly based in LA and NY. I luckily stumbled across Dr. Dorner in my search and I'm so glad I found him. The whole staff is very friendly, supportive, smart and very accommodating. Dr. Dorner made recommendations based on the results I was trying to achieve and I have to say, he knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend Dorner Plastic Surgery."- R.C. / Google / Nov 23, 2019
"My surgery was great. No issues and had a good recovery time. The staff was great, especially the 2 girls at the counter. I’ll be back in the future!"- J.B. / Google / Mar 18, 2020
"When All else Fails - If you've read my first procedure review, you know what's happening. If not, I'll give a brief synopsis for you.Back in 2016; I worked my a** off, literally. After losing 90 pounds I was left with stubborn belly fat and saggy skin around my abdomen. It was really affecting me and my view of my body. I worked extremely hard and felt I had nothing to show for it. Enter in, Dr. Dorner.I had my tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction done in September of 2016. 12 weeks into recovery..........Pregnant.I was extremely worried. I had just had this major abdominal surgery and now it was going to be undone; would it be okay for the baby, is it going to be too tight, would there be any complications? I had an amazing OB/GYN and it turned out her brother is a plastic surgeon. She said that she has had several patients that have had a tummy tuck and then had babies, with little complications, although they hadn't been as soon after.Long story short, everything turned out fine. I was fine, baby was fine (although she was breech and we couldn't get her to turn - no matter how hard we tried) and she was born in August of 2017.During my pregnancy I gained about 29 pounds. After my pregnancy, I gained additional weight. You know....new baby, whatever sleep I could get, nursing..these things took priority. I have managed to lose 23 pounds. So that's great, but it hasn't been lost from where I want. I've been trying hard, not as hard as before but still hard and the fats just not budging.I saw Dr. Dorner today for a consultation; after looking at the areas around my hips, he agreed and said he could perform liposuction with no issues. He did ask if I had had any drastic weight loss prior to my tummy tuck because I have more skin than he'd expect for someone who gained a small amount during pregnancy. I can't fault him for asking, I doubt he remembers my previous history, so I said yes. He briefly mentioned a posterior body tuck which I guess is like a tummy tuck for the backside. No thanks. Just the lipo please. I can live with my cellulite and not have to finance a down payment on a house. The quote was less than I imagined so I'm fairly certain this is going to happen. Just have to plan when; it looks like it will be shortly before mother's day, he's good at what he does and books out pretty far, plus it'll be my gift to myself."- M. / RealSelf / Mar 10, 2020
Microblading is for men and women in the Dublin and Columbus, OH areas who want a fuller or more defined shape to their eyebrows that lasts a long time and looks natural. Many patients at Dorner Plastic Surgery who undergo microblading typically have thin eyebrows that need to look fuller or have small areas that they wish to fill in. Thin eyebrows or bald spots may be caused by genetics, surgical scars, traumatic injury, overplucking, nutritional deficiencies, and aging. Unlike tattooed eyebrows, microblading creates a more natural-looking result, providing full coverage or filling in small areas of the brows. Microblading can also help add a slight arch to the brow for a better shape. Ideal candidates are in overall good health, are not pregnant, and do not have severe diabetes (high blood sugar levels can compromise the healing process).
Before your microblading session, you will receive a thorough consultation to look over the shape of your eyebrows. Based on the condition of your eyebrows along with your goals, a customized treatment plan will be created for your microblading session. The procedure can be performed in our office with a numbing cream or local anesthesia to minimize discomfort. Based on the extent of your treatment, the microblading process may take anywhere from about 1 – 3 hours. To start the process, your eyebrows will be lightly combed and expertly trimmed. Your brows will then be marked with a makeup pen, which acts as a marker for where the microblading will be used. Dorner Plastic Surgery utilizes the highest quality of ink products along with a skillful technique to create natural-looking strokes that mimic individual hairs for your best results.
What to Expect
After your microblading procedure, you will be able to leave and resume all activities with no recovery time required. You may experience mild redness in and around the treated areas but this usually dissipates in 1 – 2 hours. Your eyebrows will look much darker right after the microblading process, but they should fade to your desired shade in about two weeks. It is recommended that you schedule a follow-up appointment about one month after your initial treatment to touch up and finalize your eyebrow shape. The results of microblading typically last about 1 – 2 years, but the process can be repeated to sustain the look of your eyebrows.
No more makeup pencils and eyebrow gels to get full, defined eyebrows anymore when you undergo microblading at Dorner Plastic Surgery in Columbus, OH. We offer amazing, long-lasting results with this semi-permanent procedure to shape or fill in your eyebrows. With customized microblading treatments, you can have natural-looking eyebrows that enhance your whole face.
